The Kilim, a work of art

Synonymous of good taste and interior ornament, the Kilim is appreciated by connoisseurs, not only for its decorative property. The Kilim also stands for a work of art recounting a nomadic past with rich cultural heritage.

The origins of the Kilim go back eight thousand years, to the beginning of sheep domestication.

Every Kilim is unique. Rich flamboyant colours, huge graphic diversity through symbols used since antiquity bestow its beauty and authenticity.

Each Kilim should have its special place! The Kilim responds to today’s sensitiveness and conveys an original touch, mostly as a rug on the floor but Kilims are also used as wall hangings, throws, headboards, curtains or cushions.
